1. Prepare the Custard

Dip each slice of bread into the custard, coating both sides evenly. Let any extra custard drip off before cooking.
3. Pan-Fry to Perfection
Melt the butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Place the soaked bread in the pan and cook for 2–3 minutes on each side, or until deeply golden and slightly crisp around the edges.
4. Serve & Enjoy
Layer the warm French toast on a plate, pour over some maple syrup, and top with fresh strawberries and blueberries. Serve immediately.
